New US Navy Regulation for Renters

The Navy has issued a new directive to assist those families that have been forced to move because landlords failed to keep up payments on residences that families have leased or rented causing the home to go into foreclosure.  Effective 30 July 2008 USN members and families that are affected by foreclosure action against the landlord are authorized a funded local move.  To determine if they qualify members need to apply with their local installation military housing office.

This is a Chief of Naval Operations Directive.  If you are a member of another branch of service, you will need to check with your superiors.
